Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December 1991. His parents are Manny James as well as Patty James. He has a Nigerian mother, and an American caucasian father. The father of his is Nigerian while his mother is an American of caucasian descent. He was a graduate of Sanderson High School in 2010 and then attended Wake Forest University, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics in the year 2015. James was a household name after he appeared on screen for his first appearance as a reality television star in The Bachelorette. He was picked in 2020 as the bachelor on The Bachelor's season 25, which was The debut African American male lead which will premiere in 2021. James seemed to be the perfect choice for the role because his height is tall, handsome and well-rounded and has a good sense of comedy. Rachael Krakconnell, whom James chose as his girlfriend through the remainder of the season. He was paired with the famous dancer Arnold in 2021, to take part on season 30 of Dancing with the Stars.
